Training Resources
The BEST Plus 3.0 Test Administrator Guide is the main reference tool of trained BEST Plus test administrators. It contains the materials necessary to complete the BEST Plus Test Administrator Training Workshop and the BEST Plus scoring rubric. All trained test administrators must have their own Test Administrator Guide that they will receive at training.
Please note that orders of the BEST Plus 3.0 Test Administrator Guide will be limited to 15 copies per program for two weeks following the launch due to limited stock.

There are two components of the CAL Test Platform: Application and the Web Portal.
CAL Test Platform Application
The CAL Test Platform Application is used to administer the computer-based version of BEST Plus 3.0, record scores for the semi-adaptive print-based versions of BEST Plus 3.0, and manage test administrations. It is available for free download. It is run locally on the test administrator’s computer. The following are the steps for accessing and using the CAL Test Platform:

CAL Test Platform Web Portal
The CAL Test Platform Web Portal is a web-based online platform where all of a program’s test score data is stored. Each program can use this platform to access examinees’ test scores that were uploaded as well as view the number of test administrations distributed across all program devices. To access the Web Portal, test administrators should use the same credentials as the ones used to log into the CAL Test Platform Application. It is available for free access via the link below.

BEST Plus 3.0 Computer-Adaptive Test Administrations
To determine the number of bundles to select and the quantity to enter, divide the total number of administrations you need by 20. For example, for 480 test administrations, you would divide 480 by 20, which equals 24. The next step is to select the bundle range 1-49 and enter ‘24’ into the quantity box.
