The Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP) Model is a research-based and validated instructional model that has proven effective in addressing the academic needs of English learners throughout the United States. Using the SIOP Model, teachers design and implement lessons that attend to the distinct academic and language needs of their students. CAL has assembled two SIOP packages for your convenience and savings. Each component can also be purchased separately.

SIOP Comprehensive Package
